The 2026 Australia Cup officially entered its “competition proper” phase on Tuesday, July 14, with the first matches of the Round of 32. According to reporting by Flashscore, the tournament will feature 32 clubs competing across six matchdays, concluding on July 30.
This year’s field includes a mix of professional A-League sides and regional NPL clubs from across the country. The opening week features significant matchups, including NPL Queensland’s Rochedale Rovers FC hosting the SD Raiders, and a debut appearance for South Australia Cup champions FK Beograd against the North Sunshine Eagles FC.
Broadcasting rights for the tournament are held by Paramount+, which will stream all 31 matches. Additionally, 12 of the 16 Round of 32 games are set to be simulcast on Network Ten’s free streaming service and Football Australia’s official YouTube channel.
