The 2026 U.S. Darts Masters descends on Madison Square Garden this week, marking the only North American stop on the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Series calendar. As the event reaches its halfway point, the competition highlights the PDC’s ongoing push to capture a larger share of the North American sports market.
The field is set with 16 competitors, split between eight elite PDC professionals and eight regional qualifiers from the United States and Canada. According to The Sporting News, the PDC lineup features rising star Luke Littler, alongside Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, Jonny Clayton, Josh Rock, and Gian van Veen. James Wade has been confirmed as a late replacement for Michael van Gerwen, who will miss the event.
The North American contingent is comprised of five U.S. players—Alex Spellman, Leonard Gates, Gary Mawson, Fred Krueger, and Adam Sevada—and three Canadians: Jim Long, David Cameron, and Brayden Hall. The event serves as a pivotal showcase for the sport’s growth in the region, with organizers banking on the draw of high-profile international talent to maintain momentum in the U.S. market.
