Herbert finished the tournament at 30-under par, setting a new record for the lowest score in any LIV Golf event, surpassing the previous benchmark of 26-under held by Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm.
The Australian golfer’s performance was marked by unrelenting consistency, including an opening 11-under 61 and a closing 10-under 62. Throughout the four-day event, Herbert recorded 30 birdies and two eagles, establishing new tournament and course records. His six-stroke margin of victory over runner-up Tyrrell Hatton ties for the second-largest win in the league’s history.

While Herbert dominated the individual leaderboard, the tournament also carried significant implications for the season-long Individual Championship. Bryson DeChambeau, who finished solo third at 21-under, successfully narrowed the gap on current leader Jon Rahm. Rahm, who finished tied for 23rd, currently holds 938.44 points, with DeChambeau trailing by 219.04 points as the season enters its final month.

The success extended to the team format, where Ripper GC secured their third victory of the 2026 season. The Australian quartet finished 52-under, four shots clear of runner-up Legion XIII. Herbert was instrumental in the win, contributing 58% of the team’s total score. Reserve player Travis Smyth, filling in for the team, became the first player in league history to celebrate team victories with two different franchises in the same season, having previously contributed to a Crushers GC win in Korea.
Following this victory, Herbert’s world ranking is expected to climb further, building on his recent career-best performance at The Open Championship.
