“Good Morning America” co-host and former NFL star Michael Strahan has welcomed his fifth child, a baby girl, with his longtime partner Kayla Quick.
According to a report by TMZ on August 27, 2026, the couple welcomed their daughter “earlier this year.” Strahan, 54, and Quick, 36, have been romantically linked since May 2015 but have consistently kept their relationship out of the media spotlight.
Strahan is already a father to four adult children. He shares his eldest daughter, Tanita (34), and son, Michael Jr. (31), with his first ex-wife, Wanda Hutchins. He also has 21-year-old twin daughters, Isabella and Sophia, with his second ex-wife, Jean Muggli.
The television host has previously been vocal about his preference for keeping his romantic life entirely private. During a 2015 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Strahan explained that public relationships face intense external pressure, stating, “I prefer to do my thing and live my life away from that.”
While the couple has made rare public appearances together—including at the Broadway musical “Kinky Boots” in 2016 and when Strahan received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in January 2023—they have not publicly commented on the birth. Representatives for Strahan did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
