Robinhood has opened a specific prediction market tracking the price range of Bitcoin as of 4:00 a.m. EDT on August 22, 2026. This event contract allows users to bet on specific price tiers, with the outcome determined by the Real Time Index (RTI) provided by CF Benchmarks. According to the platform, the final settlement value is calculated by averaging 60 RTI prices collected in the minute immediately preceding the contract’s expiration.

Participants receive $1 for each contract held if their prediction aligns with the final calculated range. The platform notes that while general market data from sources like Coinbase or Google can offer context, the official determination is strictly governed by the CF Benchmarks RTI data. Traders have the option to close their positions before the event resolves or hold them until the final calculation, which typically occurs within one hour of the event time.

Robinhood Derivatives, LLC offers these contracts through partners including KalshiEX LLC, ForecastEX, LLC, or Rothera Exchange and Clearing LLC. The platform explicitly prohibits employees of the source agencies and individuals possessing material, non-public information regarding the underlying asset from participating in these trades. As with all event-based financial products, the company warns that futures and options trading involves significant risk and may not be suitable for all investors.
