Apple TV+ has officially confirmed the return of the critically acclaimed series Ted Lasso for a fourth season, set to premiere on August 5, 2026. Following the conclusion of the third season in 2023, the streaming service announced that the new installment will consist of 10 episodes, airing weekly through October 7, 2026.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Jason Sudeikis will return as both the lead star and executive producer. The core cast members are also slated to return, including Hannah Waddingham as AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, and Juno Temple as Keeley Jones. Other returning cast members include Jeremy Swift and Brendan Hunt.
The upcoming season introduces seven new characters to the series, expanding the narrative of the AFC Richmond club. In a public statement regarding the show’s return, Jason Sudeikis noted that the new season focuses on the theme of characters learning to “leap before they look.” Plot details remain largely under wraps, though the season is expected to address lingering questions from the previous finale, including the romantic trajectory of the character Keeley Jones.
