Collingwood defender Billy Frampton has been cleared to play in this weekend’s Round 19 clash against Carlton after the AFL Tribunal overturned his one-match suspension on Tuesday.

The tribunal reviewed the rough conduct charge stemming from Collingwood’s Round 18 performance. Following the hearing, the panel downgraded the incident to “Careless Conduct, Low Impact and High Contact.” As a result of this reclassification, the initial suspension was set aside and replaced with a financial penalty.

According to the official statement from the club, Frampton’s availability is confirmed for the upcoming Saturday night match. The decision provides a significant boost to Collingwood’s defensive line as they prepare for a critical stretch of the season against rivals Carlton, Geelong, and Brisbane.
