A female passenger was taken into custody by law enforcement at Miami International Airport following reports of severe misconduct during American Airlines flight AA1779. According to reporting from InsideFlyer, the incident occurred during the flight from Baltimore to Miami, during which a passenger seated in 9D allegedly undressed and engaged in explicit acts visible to other travelers.

The flight crew, operating the 26-year-old Airbus A319, alerted the airline’s Integrated Operations Centre via an ACARS message while the aircraft was in transit. Despite the nature of the disturbance, the crew did not initiate an emergency diversion, and the aircraft arrived at Gate D2 at 11:23 PM, approximately two hours behind its scheduled departure time from Baltimore. Miami-Dade authorities were waiting at the gate to escort the individual into custody upon landing.
