LADNER (Azat TV) – The Barnside Harvest Festival has officially signaled a significant shift in its programming strategy for 2026, announcing that it will feature two headlining acts each night for the first time in its four-year history. Organizers confirmed that the festival will return to Paterson Park from September 11 to 13, bringing together a mix of Canadian music legends and international talent curated from over 900 global applications.
Expanding the Barnside Harvest Festival Stage
Ken Malenstyn, general manager of Barnside Brewing Co., stated that the decision to raise the bar with double-bill headliners reflects the festival’s continued growth after welcoming nearly 80,000 attendees since its inception. The 2026 lineup is designed to span multiple generations, featuring rock, country, and alternative acts across three stages.
Friday’s opening night will be headlined by JUNO Award-winning rock act Marianas Trench alongside international artist JJ Wilde. Saturday shifts to a mix of nostalgic and hard-hitting rock with headliners Smash Mouth and Big Wreck. The festival concludes on Sunday with a powerhouse bill featuring Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Tom Cochrane and iconic guitarist Kim Mitchell.
Community Integration and Economic Impact
Beyond the headline performances, the event continues to emphasize its roots in Delta’s agricultural heritage. The festival will host more than 100 artisan vendors in the Vancity Artisan Village and feature the BC Craft Beer Corner, which will showcase selections from up to 30 regional breweries. Organizers view the event as more than a concert series, highlighting the inclusion of the Delta Police Pipe Band and local food truck staples as essential components of the community-focused atmosphere.
Tickets are currently available through a newsletter-exclusive pre-sale, which runs until Friday, April 17, at 8 a.m. Following this, early bird tickets will open to the general public. The festival maintains a family-friendly focus, offering free admission for children aged 10 and under.
