Authorities in Phoenix have identified 68-year-old Marshall Craig Davis as the victim of a fatal multi-vehicle collision that occurred on the morning of July 5, 2026. The incident took place near the intersection of 71st Avenue and Buckeye Road.

According to the Phoenix Police Department and the Phoenix Fire Department, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11 a.m. following reports of a crash involving an SUV and two semi-trucks. Preliminary findings suggest that Davis’s vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic, resulting in a head-on collision with one semi-truck. A second semi-truck was forced off the roadway during the sequence of events.

First responders arrived to find Davis trapped within his vehicle. Despite efforts to extricate him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released information regarding the condition of the drivers of the semi-trucks involved. The Phoenix Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
