Former Yerevan mayor Hayk Marutyan stated that if they can reach a broader audience, they could collect over 500,000 signatures opposing the transport fare hike. Marutyan emphasized that people do not support the price increase and hopes that the government will consider public opinion.
He added that the goal of the petition is to represent public discontent and remind authorities of their obligations.
