Developer Pocketpair has officially announced that Palworld will exit Early Access with the launch of version 1.0 on July 10, 2026. Following its initial release in January 2024, the major update introduces a new region, expanded weapon sets, and a variety of new Pals to the game.
According to the official announcement, the update introduces several distinct creatures. Among the confirmed additions is a new Fire Dragon Pal, which appears to be a high-threat combatant, and a Martial Arts Panda designed for melee-focused combat assistance. The update also introduces the Sky Dragon, a large-scale boss located in the new Sky Islands region, and the Sword Eel, a unique Pal that can be equipped by the player as a weapon.
The trailer also teased a massive Raid Boss located near the World Tree and a Giant Whale, which is expected to function as an Alpha Pal capable of being ridden. Additionally, the footage suggests the potential introduction of a cloning mechanic, demonstrated by the Pal Dupin. These additions aim to finalize the game’s core loop as it transitions to a full release.
