Developer tri-Ace officially released Resonance of Fate Enhanced Remaster on October 29, 2026, bringing native 4K output, HDR support, and up to 120 FPS to PlayStation 5 and PC via RPG Site. The title, originally launched in 2010 and previously remastered in 2018, introduces expanded graphics options and quality-of-life adjustments for both new players and returning fans.
According to reporting by Noisy Pixel, the standalone PlayStation 5 version is priced at $34.99. Meanwhile, players who already own the Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition on PlayStation Network or Steam can acquire the upgrade for a reduced cost of $9.99.
Technical Upgrades and Visual Enhancements
The Enhanced Remaster expands significantly upon the visual fidelity of the 2018 release. In addition to native 4K resolution and high dynamic range (HDR) lighting, the upgrade upscales character and environment textures to give the dystopian steampunk world sharper definition. Framerates now reach up to 120 frames per second on supported hardware, making the frantic gun-heavy combat much smoother.
Another notable addition is a 2x Game Speed option, allowing players to navigate the overworld and progress through repetitive movement sequences at a faster pace. The game retains its original musical score composed by Motoi Sakuraba and Kohei Tanaka, set against the backdrop of Basel, the massive machine sustaining humanity’s last remnants.
System Requirements and Platform Availability
For PC users, the upgrade arrives as downloadable content through Steam and requires ownership of the base 4K/HD edition. Minimum system specifications outlined for the PC version include Windows 11, an Intel Core i5-3330 or AMD FX-8350 processor, 4 MB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 650Ti or AMD Radeon HD 7770 graphics card, targeting a 1280×720 resolution.
Recommended hardware for running the game at its highest settings calls for an Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, 12 MB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5600 XT GPU to achieve native 4K output with anti-aliasing enabled.
