The volume of electricity exported from Armenia to Iran in 2024 has already surpassed average annual levels. According to Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, exports reached over 370 million kWh within the first ten months of 2024. The Armenia-Iran contract has been extended until 2030.
