A Milestone Return for K-pop Pioneers

K-pop icons BigBang have officially confirmed the details for their highly anticipated return to the stage in Singapore. The group, now a trio comprising G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, will perform at the National Stadium on October 17, 2026. This concert is a centerpiece of their ‘2026-2027 World Tour XX : Cosmos,’ marking the group’s first international tour since 2017 and serving as a major celebration of their 20th anniversary since debuting in 2006.

The tour, presented by YG Entertainment, spans 33 shows across 19 global cities. Following the tour’s commencement in Goyang, South Korea, on August 21, the group will traverse major markets in the United States, Europe, and across Asia, including stops in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Manila, before concluding in Kaohsiung on February 28, 2027.

Ticketing and Fan Access

Ticket pricing for the Singapore show reflects the high demand for the group’s return, with standard tickets ranging from S$158 to S$348. For dedicated fans, VIP packages are available at prices between S$398 and S$498. These premium options include Category 1 standing tickets, exclusive merchandise such as custom photocards, and “fast lane” access for onsite shopping.

The sales process is divided into three phases to manage high anticipated traffic:

  • VIP Presale: Fans who registered via the b.stage platform between July 29 and August 2 are eligible for the exclusive presale on August 11, from 12pm to 11:59pm.
  • Trip.com Presale: A secondary presale window opens on August 12 at 10am.
  • General Sales: Public ticket sales will commence on August 13 at 10am through Ticketmaster Singapore and the official BigBang website.

Context of the Trio’s Resurgence

This tour arrives at a significant juncture for the group. Once a five-member powerhouse, BigBang now operates as a trio following the departure of Seungri in 2019 and T.O.P in 2023. Despite these structural changes, the group remains a foundational act in the history of K-pop, credited with shaping the industry’s global trajectory during the 2010s with hits such as “Fantastic Baby” and “Bang Bang Bang.” The ‘XX : Cosmos’ tour is viewed by industry analysts as a definitive test of the group’s enduring cultural influence and their ability to command stadium-sized venues after a decade-long absence from the Singapore performance circuit.
