The Competition Protection Commission (CPC) has launched an investigation into the price increases by companies servicing cash registers to assess the legitimacy and market impact of these changes.
According to the Commission’s statement, businesses that experienced price hikes for these services in 2024 are encouraged to submit relevant information via info@competition.am to assist in the investigation.
This initiative aims to determine whether the price increases align with fair competition principles or if there are concerns regarding market abuse or anti-competitive agreements.
The CPC plans to conduct a thorough analysis to ensure the protection of businesses’ rights and maintain fair competitive conditions in the market.
