Prime Video has released a highly anticipated sneak peek of its upcoming action-comedy series, Ride or Die, which is set to premiere all eight episodes on July 15, 2026. The project marks a significant career milestone for stars Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer, both of whom serve as executive producers on the series.
Created by Tessa Coates, the show centers on the dynamic between best friends Debbie Claybourne, played by Spencer, and Judith Burton, portrayed by Waddingham. The plot thickens when it is revealed that Judith is secretly an international assassin. Following a botched hit and the emergence of a mysterious figure from her past, the pair is forced to embark on a high-stakes road trip across Europe while being pursued by law enforcement and dangerous criminals.
The series features an ensemble cast including Ed Skrein, Calam Lynch, and Bill Nighy. Production is a collaboration between Paramount Television Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, Double Dream, and Orit Entertainment. With the showrunner Matt Miller and director Peyton Reed overseeing the production, the series represents a major creative investment for Waddingham as she expands her repertoire into the action-comedy genre.
