Madalina Apostol, a social media influencer known for her lifestyle content, has died at age 40. Her partner, businessman Nick Radoi, confirmed the death on Sunday, describing it as a tragic loss resulting from a suspected suicide, The New York Post reported.

Apostol had reportedly been battling a severe autoimmune condition that caused chronic physical pain, alongside a long-term struggle with depression. Radoi stated that these factors had taken a significant toll on her well-being. In the months leading up to her death, Apostol had sought professional psychiatric treatment in her native Romania.

Just last month, on her 40th birthday, Apostol shared a post with her 38,000 followers referencing Shakespeare’s Hamlet. She wrote, “I finally have the answer to the question that has followed me for so long: ‘To be or not to be?’ I choose to be, because the alternative was never my destiny.” Despite this public declaration, her partner noted the severity of the health challenges she faced.

Apostol was a mother to three children: a 10-year-old daughter and two adult sons. Her final social media post, shared one day before her death, featured photos of her sons from a decade ago. Radoi described her as a devoted mother with a deep faith, stating that she had been supported by loved ones throughout her illness.
