The Italian State Police in Modena conducted a targeted operation, resulting in the arrest of two individuals subject to outstanding judicial orders. The operation, coordinated by the Police Administrative and Security Division and executed by the Squadra Volante, led to the apprehension of the fugitives within hours.

On July 15, authorities arrested a 52-year-old woman identified as being wanted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Florence Tribunal. She is required to serve a one-year prison sentence for fraudulent insolvency related to an incident in Florence in 2018. Later that same night, officers apprehended a 39-year-old man who was subject to an international arrest warrant issued by Swiss authorities for extradition.

Both individuals were processed at the Modena police headquarters following their arrests. They have since been transferred to a local correctional facility to await further judicial proceedings.
