Addressing the pricing trend, Fine Gael councillor Daniel Butler acknowledged the market reality of event-driven surges but emphasized the need for balance. Speaking to Extra.ie, Butler noted that while temporary price hikes occur in cities hosting large-scale events, Limerick remains a competitive market. He stated that the city continues to offer high standards of quality and service, adding that the concert series has generated a significant economic “buzz” for the region, with planning already underway for future lineups in 2027.
