Three men have died following a significant fire at a single-storey pavilion on New Zealand Way in White City, West London, on the evening of June 20, 2026. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed that emergency services responded to 19 separate calls reporting the blaze, which began at 6:52 p.m.

Emergency Response and Rescue

Approximately 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines were deployed to the scene from North Kensington, Acton, Chiswick, and surrounding stations. Upon arrival, crews discovered three men trapped inside the structure. The firefighters successfully rescued the individuals and transferred them to the care of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

LFB Assistant Commissioner Pat Goulbourne stated that while two of the men were declared dead at the scene, the third was transported to a hospital for emergency treatment but later succumbed to his injuries. The fire, which damaged slightly more than half of the pavilion, was brought under control by 9:25 p.m.

Ongoing Investigation

The site of the incident is located near Loftus Road, the home ground of Queens Park Rangers Football Club. The cause of the fire is currently under active investigation by the London Fire Brigade’s specialist fire investigation officers, working in coordination with the Metropolitan Police Service.
