The announcement featured O’Reilly dropping an O’Neill’s Gaelic football to reveal her baby bump. She and her husband, Colm Maginn, posted the video to Instagram with the caption, “Our greatest teammate is on the way!” The post quickly drew congratulations from prominent Irish sporting figures, including Jacqui Hurley, Stephanie Roche, and Katie McCabe.
O’Reilly, originally from County Meath, has built a significant career in sports broadcasting, having gained prominence at Newstalk’s Off The Ball before transitioning to freelance work in 2024.
