Cambridge United have officially announced the signing of 21-year-old winger Isaac Heath from Everton on a three-year contract. The move marks a permanent transition for the player, who spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan with League Two side Accrington Stanley.
During his loan spell, Heath made 33 appearances across all competitions, contributing six goals. His performance at the youth level previously earned him the Everton Under-21 Player of the Season award for the 2024-25 campaign, signaling his readiness for senior football.
Cambridge United manager Neil Harris expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, noting that the club faced significant competition to secure the winger’s signature. “He’s a young player with a huge amount of development ahead of him,” Harris told the club’s official website. “Isaac gives us versatility across the front line and will add a real attacking threat to the squad.”
Heath becomes the second signing of the summer for the U’s, joining striker Callum Stead. The transfer is viewed as a strategic move to bolster the club’s attacking depth for the upcoming season.
