Sweepstakes Details and Eligibility
KSAT 12 and WB Liquors & Wine have announced the launch of a collaborative Instagram sweepstakes, officially scheduled to run from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, through 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2026. According to the official rules published by KSAT 12, the contest is open exclusively to legal U.S. residents who are at least 21 years of age and reside within the sponsor’s designated market area as defined by Nielsen Media Research.
Participation in the sweepstakes is free, and the sponsors have explicitly stated that a purchase will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning. Employees of the sponsoring companies, their affiliates, and members of their immediate households are ineligible to participate. By entering, participants agree to be bound by the final decisions of the sponsor, and any failure to comply with the established rules may result in immediate disqualification.
Entry Requirements and Winner Selection
To enter the sweepstakes, participants must complete several steps on Instagram. Requirements include liking the specified post on the @eldereats account, sharing the post to their own Instagram story, saving the post, following both @wbliquors and @eldereats, and leaving a comment on the original post. The sponsors have noted that each additional comment will count as an additional entry, with no limit on the number of entries per person, email address, or telephone number during the designated period.
The use of automated software, scripts, or third-party tools to generate entries is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to use multiple identities or fraudulent methods will lead to the disqualification of all associated entries. Once the sweepstakes period concludes on November 12, 2026, a potential winner will be selected via a random drawing.
Prize Claim and Verification
The prize consists of one WB Liquors & Wine gift basket, which includes various cocktail-related items such as mixers, glass rimmers, and a shaker. The approximate retail value of the prize is $100. Following the drawing, the potential winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram. The winner is required to respond and submit all necessary verification forms, including a potential request for a government-issued photo ID, within 48 hours of notification. Failure to meet this deadline or fulfill eligibility requirements will result in the forfeiture of the prize and the potential selection of an alternate winner.
