Nineteen-year-old striker Luca Fletcher has emerged as a significant talent to watch at Ipswich Town following his permanent transfer from Manchester City this summer. The move follows a productive loan spell at Portman Road, where the forward demonstrated his potential in the youth ranks.
Fletcher, an England Under-17s international known for his pace, previously played a key role in Manchester City’s success, helping the club reach the FA Youth Cup final in consecutive seasons (2024 and 2025). During his loan period with Ipswich, he further bolstered his reputation by scoring six goals in the Premier League 2.
While Fletcher has yet to make his senior debut for the Tractor Boys, he is currently training with the first-team squad.
