His father, the Prince of Wales, attended the institution starting in 1995, followed by the Duke of Sussex, who studied there between 1998 and 2003. While there was earlier speculation regarding other potential schools, including Marlborough College, the royal family has opted for the historic all-boys boarding school located near Windsor Castle.

Founded in 1440, Eton College is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world, counting 20 British prime ministers among its alumni.
