Omar Morales, Mesa Falleur and Charlie Crockett finished the third round of the Dominican Republic Tour Championship on October 17 tied at 11 under par. Their position after 54 holes put three different promotion campaigns at the center of the PGA Tour Americas season finale.

A leaderboard with career implications

According to the PGA Tour’s third-round report, Corey Pereira was one stroke behind at ten under. With three players sharing first, Pereira’s position was fourth, rather than second. These figures describe Saturday’s completed round and do not establish the final result.

Morales entered the week at No. 42 on the points list. Falleur qualified in the final available position, No. 60. Crockett, by contrast, arrived at No. 6 after winning the ATB Classic. A shared tournament score therefore carried different implications for each player’s season.

The route to the Korn Ferry Tour

The season’s top ten earn 2027 Korn Ferry Tour membership. Four players had already secured their places before the finale, leaving six cards unresolved at that reporting point. The 600 points available to the winner gave contenders outside the top ten a meaningful opportunity to change the standings.

The event at PGA Ocean’s 4 in Playa Nueva Romana was scheduled for October 15–18. Saturday’s projections should not be confused with confirmed promotion: the final order and card recipients depend on the completed championship.
