New Evidence in UAP Disclosures
The U.S. Department of War has released a seventh tranche of documents concerning Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), which includes a detailed account of a mysterious “matte black triangular shape” observed by federal agents. The report, as published by Audacy, details an incident where agents witnessed a craft that lacked any discernable acoustic signature and exhibited performance capabilities that defied conventional flight characteristics.
According to the document, the object maintained a fixed horizontal alignment while hovering before executing a rapid, high-speed departure into a canyon. Observers, who possessed extensive experience with conventional aircraft, noted that the craft displayed no engine roar or exhaust gradients, and its infrared spectrum remained spatially uniform across the airframe. The sighting occurred under favorable environmental conditions, with clear lines of sight and no evidence of solar glare, suggesting that the visual data is considered highly credible by the reporting agents.
Government Transparency Efforts
This release is part of a broader transparency initiative directed by President Donald Trump, who earlier this year instructed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and other agency heads to declassify files related to extraterrestrial life and UAPs. The documents are being disseminated through the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE), a platform that has seen significant public engagement since its inception.
The government’s investigation into such incidents is ongoing. In addition to the recent triangle sighting, the Department of War is actively investigating reports concerning additional footage held by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Acting Pentagon Press Secretary Joel Valdez confirmed that the agency is working to locate two specific cellphone videos, purportedly showing a 100-foot triangle craft over a Colorado military base, though no concrete timeline for that potential release has been established.
Institutional Accountability and Next Steps
Despite the high volume of interest, the government maintains that there is no evidence of extraterrestrial involvement in these sightings. A 2024 assessment indicated that such phenomena are not attributed to alien life, and current efforts focus on identifying potential advanced drone technology or unauthorized aerial incursions. To facilitate further discovery, the administration has waived non-disclosure agreements for former employees and contractors, aiming to encourage the disclosure of information regarding highly classified aerospace programs. While ground surveys conducted after the agents’ sighting found no physical wreckage or environmental damage, the incident remains a significant data point in the ongoing effort to understand the nature of these anomalous craft.
