In the backstage footage released by WWE, Saints interrupted Fenix’s interview to deliver an explicit warning about the champion’s competing priorities. Saints cautioned Fenix that his focus on chasing high-profile opportunities, including potential dream matches against top stars like Roman Reigns and CM Punk, leaves his AAA title vulnerable. “What you actually should be focused on is the fact that you are a AAA Cruiserweight Champion,” Saints told Fenix. “And if you don’t keep your focus on that, someone that is more absolute is going to come by and take that from you — and his name is Ricky Saints.”
