Unlike traditional solar farms that often displace arable land, the Archimede® model utilizes the sunlight for both crop photosynthesis and electricity generation. University of Catania researchers have validated the system’s efficacy, particularly concerning tomato production, marking a scalable model for the ‘Ragusa transformed belt’ and beyond.
