Former Wrexham attacking midfielder Josh Adam has completed a move to League of Ireland Premier Division side Bohemian FC, the club announced. The 22-year-old, who was previously with Czech side Dynamo České Budějovice, has signed a deal that will keep him at Dalymount Park until the end of the current season.
Adam, a Glasgow-born former Scotland Under-21 international, joined Wrexham in September 2024 following a trial after leaving Manchester City. His time at The Racecourse was limited to two competitive appearances in the EFL Trophy before he departed in May 2025 following the club’s promotion to the Championship.
Bohemian manager Alan Reynolds welcomed the signing, highlighting the player’s pedigree. “Josh is a really technical and attacking player, who we believe will add real attacking quality in the final third,” Reynolds told the club’s official website. “He’s come through the academy systems at Celtic and Man City, can play the number 10 role and off the striker really well, and is a handful for defenders.”
The move sees Adam join a Bohemian side currently sitting third in the League of Ireland Premier Division table. He is expected to integrate into the squad as they push for European qualification spots, with the club aiming to utilize his experience from his time in top-tier youth systems, where he won multiple Premier League 2 and Under-18 titles with Manchester City.
